2010 Most Promising Mixed Age Bluegrass Band of the Year
Leah Everly is 20 years old and has been expressing her vocal talents and providing the band with her instrumental talents (mandolin,guitar, and doghouse bass). Leah is the North American Country Music Association International 2011 Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year, 2010 & 2012 Bluegrass New Horizon Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year. In addition to this award she is the three year running Bluegrass Vocalist and Entertainer of the year for the Illinois Country Music Association.Leah is also North American Country Music Assoc. International 2011 Song Writer of the Year . Her song "Lord Guide My Feet" made this possible.
Paul Everly Sr. is the band's lead engineer . He has been playing the rhythm guitar for almost 40 years and sings lead and harmony since his teenage years. Paul has this unique range of harmony melodies which expresses his musical vocal talents. Paul Sr. is the North American Country Music Assoc. International 2012 Male Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year. He is also the 2011 Adult Male Bluegrass Entertainer of the Year and 2011 Adult Most Promising Bluegrass Vocalist of the Year. Paul was gracious enough to also accept the 2010 Bluegrass Most Promising Male Vocalist and Entertainer from the North American Country Music Assoc. International in the 2010 competition.
Paul Everly Jr. has been expressing his musical abilities for almost 20 years playing Lead guitar and Mandolin. He plays the banjo and sings vocal harmonies giving the band this unique twist of sound. Paul is the 2012 NACMAI Bluegrass Instrumentalist of the Year. In 2010 Paul was able to win two awards at the North American Country Music Assoc. International Competition. The first award was the 2010 Bluegrass Instrumentalist of the Year and the second award was the 2010 Overall Instrumentalist of the Year (Award known as the "Little JImmy Dempsey Award"). In 2011 He also accepted the 2011 New Horizon Songwriter of the Year for the song he wrote "Headed for the Promise land."
Matthew Rendleman has been playing for the band for 5 1/2 years . His talents consist of a versatile ability to play many of the different instruments in the bands collection. He plays the fiddle and has expressed his great musical talent on this great sounding instrument. Matthew is a vital asset to this band. we are pleased to have him aboard on this musical adventure. As part of the Band Matt help accept the 2012 Mixed Age Bluegrass Band of The Year and the 2011 Adult Bluegrass Band of the Year from the North American Country Music Assoc. International.
Caleb Gill is 18 years old and has been playing the upright bass for 2 years. He has shown his great talents in such a short period of time . Caleb has already showed that he is a great asset to the band and expresses his dedication to the Musical Bluegrass family.As part of the band Caleb helped accept the North American Country Music Association International 2012 Mixed Age Bluegrass Band of the Year.Copyright 2011 New Blood Gospel Bluegrass Band.
